The “Mare Berbero” design

Mare Berbero is a bold black and white drawing printed on a white t-shirt, inspired by the Berber peoples of North Africa and the shared horizon of the Mediterranean. The composition resembles an ancient symbolic Amalfi map, where abstract signs, human traces, berber alphabet letters, and graphic lines evoke a coastline shaped by history and crossings.

The deep black form recalls the sea itself, a space that connects cultures rather than dividing them. Worn in Amalfi, overlooking the same Mediterranean, the artwork becomes a tribute to multiracial roots, exchange, and the open spirit that defines life along these shores.

Mare Berbero è una grafica originale  in bianco e nero stampata inizialmente su una t-shirt bianca, ispirato ai popoli berberi del Nord Africa e all'orizzonte condiviso del Mediterraneo. La composizione ricorda una mappa simbolica antica di Amalfi, dove segni astratti, tracce umane, lettere dell'alfabeto berbero e linee grafiche evocano una costa plasmata dalla storia e dagli incontri.
